About Me
Dr. Susan Wamithi is a consultant developmental pediatrician at Aga Khan University Hospital, where they provide specialized care for children and youth with a wide range of neurodevelopmental and neuro-rehabilitation disorders. Dr. Wamithi is a recognized specialist in Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, genetic disorders affecting development, and developmental delays.
Dr. Wamithi’s research interests focus on gene-environment interactions, the impact of pollution and toxic stress on the developing brain, and rehabilitation medicine aimed at improving functional independence and quality of life for children with disabilities.
